AVF 2025 is an invitational event.
As of April 21st we have reached our goal of 1000 members.
What to Expect
AVF IS NOT affiliated with SOWO or EUEX. AVF is NEW EVENT by a totally different team.
AVF is absolutely NOT a EURO event!
AVF is a VAG ONLY Event. VAG means Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche.
Starting in 2025, AVF is an INVITATIONAL EVENT. This means we are screening attendees cars. We started this due the sabotage threats we received from outsiders. The screening is looking to ensure you are bringing a VAG vehicle and have not been involved in problems in the past. We are fighting to keep this event from devolving into a problem event that gets cancelled by the City Of Helen.
The format of the event is different than many car shows. Instead of a large collection of cars on a big show field, we hold a series of carefully crafted and organized small events that culminates with a Best of Show and Vendor Exposition on Saturday. The only way to get into the Best of Show display is to be selected by one of these official pre-events held from Tuesday through Friday.

OUR STORY
Helen has a long history of VW events. Obviously, there have been problems with some of those events. We as a team are deeply passionate about Helen and the area. Our primary goal is to respect the town and the trust they have given us. The team has worked extensively on this project studying how we think we can have a simple fun weekend and avoid the problems of the past. We have been blessed to have an extensive team of experienced event promoters working tirelessly on this event. We have been meeting with the Helen City Council, business owners, and local citizens to learn what can work and what to avoid. We expect your support. Please do not come to our event if you are looking for any of the problems of the past.
